Understand the Syllabus & Weightage

KEAM heavily focuses on Class 11 and Class 12 SCERT/NCERT syllabi. Do not study blindly. Focus your energy on high-weightage topics like Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, and Calculus before moving to obscure chapters.

Balance Plus Two and KEAM Prep

Your board marks matter, but KEAM determines your engineering college. The trick is to study a concept for your boards, and immediately solve 20 KEAM-level MCQs on that same topic. Integrated learning saves time.

Common Mistake Waiting until the Plus Two board exams are over to start KEAM prep is a disaster. You will only have 30-40 days, which is not enough for the vast syllabus.

Practice, Practice, Practice

KEAM is a speed test. You must solve previous year papers with a timer. Aim to solve Physics and Chemistry questions in under 1 minute each. If you get stuck, move on immediately.
